The Editors welcome submissions of unsolicited manuscripts. The International Law Journal seeks to publish articles and essays making a significant, original contribution to the area of international law. The Journal considers articles from professionals from a wide array of international legal topic areas, including insurance, intellectual property, commercial litigation and conflict of laws, human rights, as well as the international sale and transfer of goods and services. Please refer to our previous issues for examples of pertinent topic areas.

Format: The Journal strongly prefers electronic submissions in MS Word format. Submitted articles should be double-spaced using a 12-point Times New Roman font with 1″ margins. Footnotes should follow the form prescribed in The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th ed. 2015).

Length: The Journal strongly prefers Articles of 25,000 words or less, including footnotes. Articles exceeding 25,000 words will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Materials: Submissions must include:
(1) the author’s resume or CV; and
(2) the Article to be considered.
